We’ll discuss what scientists and community members are learning about pollinator migration\, why declining populations matter for healthy ecosystems\, and how creating and protecting pollinator habitat in New York City can help. \nParticipants will also have the opportunity to help band monarch butterflies\, contributing observations to a national community science effort tracking monarch migration and population trends. The program offers a chance to connect global climate change to the wildlife and habitats we can observe and protect right here in Brooklyn’s largest park.
