Training the Next Generation of Park Leaders!
Now entering its third year, Marine Park Alliance’s Teen Leadership Program offers Brooklyn high school students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in environmental stewardship, community engagement, and cultural programming—all while earning a stipend. Applications will be accepted through August 1, 2026, and the program will begin in early September for the upcoming school year. We are seeking motivated students who are eager to participate in hands-on, outdoor activities at Marine Park and interested in learning about ecology and Brooklyn’s diverse communities. All rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to applicants who have previously volunteered with Marine Park Alliance.
